Aside from Xiaomi, OnePlus has also confirmed it will launch a 5G smartphone following year. OnePlus spokesperson earlier verified that the OnePlus 7 will not have 5G enabled to maintain the breaking competitive. Instead, the company will maintain its promise of 5G by launching a separate series early 2019. It’s still a mystery if OnePlus will launch this phone together with the OnePlus 7 or launching it before on in a separate event. It is theorized that OnePlus could establish the 5G device in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) at Barcelona.
