Samsung took its own sweet time warming to the idea of a display notch, but it appears that the company Doesn’t want to miss out on the trend of pop-up selfie cameras.
According to a new leak, Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy A90 will reportedly sport a pop-up selfie camera, entirely ditching the screen top notch or a hole-punch to house the front imaging detector. Not much is known about the Samsung Galaxy A90’s hardware, but according to a prior escape, it will allegedly come armed with Samsung’s’New Infinity Screen’ that is claimed to bring a notchless encounter.
The new leak regarding the Samsung Galaxy A90 comes in renowned tipster Ice Universe, that tweeted the upcoming smartphone will be the first from Samsung’s lineup to feature a pop- front camera, including that the Galaxy A90’s screen will soon be devoid of a top notch or a pit. Samsung has reportedly been working on a new type of screen known as the ‘New Infinity Display’ which will feature a sleek design without a top or hole of any sort and might debut on the Samsung Galaxy A70 and the Galaxy A90. The pop up selfie camera layout is a relatively new aesthetic element that we have seen on the Vivo Nex and may soon witness it on more smartphones like the Oppo R19 and the Vivo X25.
In terms of the Samsung Galaxy A90, it is one of the nine Galaxy A-Series smartphones that will allegedly be launched by the South Korean smartphone giant after this season. The Samsung Galaxy A90 will likely be expected to include a 6.41-inch display and will allegedly run One UI predicated on Android Pie.
From the imaging department, the upcoming Samsung smartphone may feature double or triple back cameras alongside a ToF 3D sensor for improved depth estimation. The Samsung Galaxy A90 will allegedly hit the market in Black, Gold, and Silver color options, but details about an expected launch timeline and pricing aren’t known.
