It’s an upgrade to Android Oreo rather than even Android Pie like most smartphones now. The company had promised an upgrade for the smartphone back in 2017 but after never really go to pushing the upgrade out. If you still possess a Moto G4 Plus smartphone, don’t hesitate to find an update notification popping up after a very long moment.
Lenovo-owned Motorola originally did not include that the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus in its update schedule back in September 2017. A couple of days later the company explained that there was a miscommunication along with also the Oreo update will roll out to the G4 Plus. Motorola also said that since this was an unplanned upgrade, it may take some time to insert it into the upgrade schedule. The business took close to 17 weeks to deliver this update.
The Moto Z3 Perform is another smartphone that’s likely to acquire a software upgrade shortly. The company back in August 2018 intended to upgrade eight smartphones into Android Pie and the Moto Z3 Play was among them. Motorola has recently printed Pie release notes to the Z3. There’s no news of this Moto Z3 Play receiving the Pie upgrade yet which means that it is in the pipeline and might be pop up any time soon.
A closer look at the release notes does not reveal anything specific but the normal Android Pie features. These include a new UI, one-button navigation straps, upgraded volume controls, temporary rotation key and screenshot editing. Motorola didn’t release the Moto Z3 Perform in India.
