LG G8 ThinQ will go on pre-orders in South Korea Beginning March 15, the company announced on Monday.
Alongside announcing the pre-order program, LG revealed the price of this G8 ThinQ that was unveiled in Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona last month. The telephone are also available for sale in the country beginning March 22. It’ll be provided with a screen replacement centre for a year and will come bundled with a free case. The G8 ThinQ especially comes as a successor to the LG G7 ThinQ which was launched in India and global markets last year.

In accordance with the new details posted on the official newsroom website, that the LG G8 ThinQ cost in South Korea has been set at KRW 897,600 (roughly Rs. 55,300). The telephone will be accessible for pre-orders in the country between March 15-20, though it is going to go on sale starting March 22.

For photos and videos, the LG G8 ThinQ comes in two different variants — one with a double rear camera setup and the other one with a triple rear camera setup. The South Korea variant of the G8 ThinQ, however, has a double sided back camera setup. The camera setup comprises a 12-megapixel primary detector alongside an f/1.5, 85-degree lens, 16-megapixel secondary detector alongside a 107-degree super wide-angle lens that has an f/1.9 aperture, plus a 12-megapixel tertiary sensor composed of a 45-degree telephoto lens along with an f/2.4 aperture.
The LG G8 ThinQ also comes with an 8-megapixel autofocus camera along with an f/1.7 lens in the front. There is also a ToF Z Camera that is designed to enable Hand ID palm vein authentication. What’s more, the phone has a face unlock attribute and a fingerprint detector at the back.
On the storage front, the LG G8 ThinQ has 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). The smartphone is powered by a 3,500mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Besides, it comes with an inbuilt 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC that empowers DTS:X 3D Surround Sound.
