Game of Thrones season 8, which is the Last season of the popular HBO Series, has received its first teaser.
The 39-second clip provides us a mere glimpse of what all we can expect from the last period of Game of Thrones. The teaser starts off with ice and fire sweeping across the map of fictional world Westeros, possibly a take on the”A Song of Ice and Fire” book show the show relies on. Game of Thrones year 8 will premiere sometime in April 2019.
Dubbed Dragonstone, this teaser marks the strategy towards Game of Thrones’ last season after a blockbuster run through the previous seven seasons. Notably, season 8 will be released in April 2019 that is made up of a 20 months gap after the penultimate season went off
Aside from that, the short Game of Thrones year 8 teaser reveals fire engulfing a lion figure, which is likely a sign towards House Lannister. In the end, at the end of the teaser, ice and fire collide with each other suggesting an epic battle prior to the show finally comes to a conclusion.
To recall, shooting for Game of Thrones year 8 finished back in July this year, with reports suggesting that the prequel will be taken in October. Moreover, the launch month (April 2019) had been declared last month through an information teaser printed by the official Game of Thrones YouTube station. One report suggests that the cast and crew spent around 10 months shooting season 8, with about two months of these spent filming just the big battle between the living and the deceased. Each episode is thought to have costed approximately $15 million (approximately Rs. 105 crores) to produce.
Beyond this, there is extremely limited information about what the actual plot or narrative of this Game of Thrones closing season is. We will have to wait till the launch of this official full scale trailer to get a better view at how things are going to look in the Game of Thrones world as it prepares for a final showdown following year.
