Only last month, the state-owned telco decreased the cost of the prepaid package to 24 days, and now the Rs. 319 recharge has allegedly also received a validity reduction. The Rs. 319 prepaid program is now said to provide only 84 days legitimacy, instead of the earlier 90 days. This comes just after BSNL’s recent movement to revise its Rs. 525 and Rs. 725 postpaid intends to give additional data benefit to its customers.
The BSNL Rs. 319 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls nationwide and roaming, except in Mumbai and Delhi circles. The Rs. 319 package today reportedly comes with 84 times of validity, instead of 90 days legitimacy. Telecom Chat was the first to place this shift.
As mentioned, the Rs. 99 pack was revised last month to decrease validity to 24 days. This recharge also provides unlimited local and STD calls to any network in their home area or under national roaming, except Delhi and Mumbai.
Together with the revised Rs. 99 recharge, BSNL also reportedly increased the SIM replacement price from the original Rs. 10 to Rs. 100. It’s also said that the operator is offering a 4G SIM card in some areas at a charge of Rs. 19.
Separately, BSNL has also expanded its widely popular’Bumper Offer’ that was originally launched back in September last year. The deal is intended to offer prepaid customers 2.2GB additional data every day. It is legitimate for BSNL recharge plans ranging from Rs. 186 into Rs. 2,099. The Bumper Offer has been extended from the last deadline of January 31 to April 30.
